Week 8 Plays

IDPs — If you want an IDP who can get you a good jump on Thursday Night, D. Jones LB ATL could have several tackles against M. Davis and the crossing routes the Panthers run often. I also like KC Chiefs’ DL C. Jones and F. Clark against the worst team in the AFC… they could both have a huge game. Look for LB D. Leonard IND to come back and put a whooping on the lions, a run heavy team. I also think DB D. McCourty could put up some big points off of turnovers and tackles against the Bills.

D/ST — I think it’s a safe bet to stream whoever the Jets and Cowboys play the rest of the season, so be prepared for that in the play section. I like Kansas City Chiefs in New York, and the Philadelphia Eagles (yeah I said it) at home against the boys. I think the Buffalo Bills continue their AFC East dominance against the Patriots. For deeper leagues look at Miami Dolphins hosting the Rams. The Dolphins are coming off a bye and the Rams have a short week and a long flight… Tua could throw a wrench in this as we have not seen him manage a game.

K — He’s probably rostered but I think J. Tucker BAL could see several field goal opportunities against the Steelers. J. Sanders MIA could be in for the same against the Rams. J. Slye CAR could be a good kicker if you are looking to get a jump on Thursday. R. Bullock CIN could and should continue dominating the kicker points against a defense that should be stingy around the goal line.

Week 9 Pines

Byes- Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Washington F.T.

IDPs — As much as it pains me to put it, I am going to put a man with 9 sacks and 4 forced turnovers on the pine. I am sure most owners will not, but I think this could be DL Myles Garrett CLE lowest scoring game of the year. LB N. Chubb DEN has been on a roll with at least a sack in his last 3 games, I think Herbert will be too quick and elusive for him to get one this week. One of the best DBs over the past 5 years, DB L. Collins WASH is feared to have tore his achilles… so sad keep an eye on him but it probably will be a drop or an IR stash for most owners.

D/ST — I am not dropping the Washington F.T.. In almost every format they are a top 5 D/ST. They still have 3 NFC East match ups (including the Giants after the bye) and a match up versus the Bengals. Stash them. If you are in a deeper league I would also stash Arizona Cardinals. There are some bumpy match ups, but with playoff weeks against the Eagles, Giants, and 49ers, they will be highly sought after during weeks 14–16. Even though they had some big plays against the Bengals, I do not expect the Cleveland Browns to be able to contain the Raiders in the same way.

K — If you are in a deeper league, Z. Gonzalez ARI could be worth a stash. As great as a year as G. Gano NYG has had, I am putting him on the pine or looking elsewhere against the Bucs. Will Lutz NO has been as reliable as ever, but against a tough Bears D and in the windy city he is on the pine. I am also putting Dan Bailey MINN on the pine against Green Bay.

Thanks for reading, I hope you are taking this advice, as this has been an almost spot on year. Remember your bye weeks, and….

Go Pack Go!!!
